l♥ved, the lasagna broke my jaw
While chewing on my overnight lasagna.... i thought about this...

Which is very true!.... in fact... ALL OF THEM AREN'T! They are like US... we speak and behave like what american tv does. We all eat the same thing like pizza, pasta and toast with lots of cheese... we all don't like to do dishes, cleaning and buying toilet paper. Its like the whole of aussie lost their culture! They don't even have oz food in the supermarket.. what they mostly have is a mixture of mexican, indian and italian.
I don't really know what oz food is.. but i would its the out-back-ish kind.. like eating exotic animals or something...? I guess, they will still prefer pizza.. or something with lots of cheese.
The only major difference is people here sleep really early! Like about 10.30pm, they'll start making their way to the sink and brush their teeth.. that is like the BIGGEST culture shock i've had ever since i came. And i'm still in shock.. so i sleep at like 1am and feel like the most unhealthy person when i wake up in the morning...

I kara-oke-d myself crazy on Saturday!
Over here, the Kbox is slightly different, they operate to crazy hours! We had the night package which starts from 8pm-4am! 4 freaking am can! Its like 8 hrs! U can clock in enough hours of sleep with that already! Its 1hr before our usual kbox and ends like 2hrs after! All for like $25 (oz dollars la). Its pretty reasonable if u wanna sing like mad... and it comes with snacks like fishballs and wings (not some cheapo nuts).
Then when i woke up at 1pm on Sunday... i don't feel very okay. I think i'm getting old! I felt really weak and tired (its like I'm gonna fall sick). This won't happen when I was 18... u know.. the clubbing or the msn or on the phone or tv-ing to like 4-5am! I can't even do 'lean backs' now...
Getting older is sucha pain...

Just when i thought the weather was going to get warmer..... it went cold again today! Grr.. i like this tube dress but i don't think i'll ever get to wear it. Cos its not getting warmer..
My guy (soon to be girlfriend-li-fied) friend, Darren, was telling me its going to be 40degrees in Spring!... i was happy the entire sunday. *daydreams about sleeveless...shorts... showering...ice-cream...scandals...hunks on the beach with..shorts/trunks/towels?*

I've decided to blog to postpone my tutorials to at least about 30mins later... haha..
I'm officially becoming the biggest geek in the world! Its a saturday and i'm HOME.. and possibly BE HOME for sunday as well and i WAS home on a FRIDAY (ystd) as well.. Hate this life...
There's nothing to do but tutorials... and reading up on my text books.. omg.. this is so geeky i can't even continue..
While i'm procrastinating like a b*tch here... my hsemates are straightening their hair... curling their hair and decided which club to go to tonight. I'm like... its not australia.. its me. I'm the one missing out and nobody i know its having ME in their itinerary! ARGh.. i feel so 'uncool'... They prolly think lil asian chicks w/ black eye rings (me, i've been OC-ing the entire night) have no life but school and... missing families back home.

I've been to school everyday (there's no reason to NOT go cos there's nth else to do). Its pretty much the same as poly but I spend more time at 'home' like more than 20hrs a day incl. sleeping time.. cos there's nowhere to go. The nearest mall is bayside but its pointless cos... it doesn't have much. Its just the usuals, myers and stuff. SO it gets really boring here.
I've been doing ALL my tutorials and eating.. and eating.. all i do is EAT. Seriously! I eat ALOT. Its like i constantly feel hungry! I snack alot more here cos I cant imagine a amount of carbs n calories i'll gain if i have a MEAL (and i usually opt for the large one cos i'm too hungry and its way more worth it). SOON... i have to join the gym... at the rate that i'm eating.
I had 4 bowls of rice on monday... argh...
I don't knw why.. but i eat more rice here.. rice here is so yummy.. maybe i miss eating rice at home everyday. sigh...
I'm having a slightly hard time communicating w/ my hsemates. Its like i try to avoid speaking to them as much as possible because i end up repeating or rephrasing what i say so they can understand... then i feel silly. So ya...
Argh... so bored so bored..

SIGH. That guy won't ever ask me to go his place ready la.. so long ready, he still nvr call me. So i guess.. i'll either see him in sch or not see him at all. SIGH.
I realise now that i'm here, i think friends are very important wherever you go. Like now, I don't think i would've survived if I have no friends here and those singaporean friends who gave me words of advice. I think i wouldn't be this strong (hey, going through all these loneliness and boredom requires a lot of.. smthg smthg).
I went for a b'dae celebration ystd. The birthday boy wasn't important. THE FOOD WAS BLOODY GOOD! We had thai food and its like one of the best rest. that i've been to for like the longest time! The rice was sweet coconut rice. My friends and i were like even if there's no other side dishes, the rice will make us really satisfied.
Then we missed the last bus home so we walked... then ... WE BLOODY HELL SAW A SHOOTING STAR!!! It was really random.. like we were looking up while walking then we saw smthg flew past really fast then... made a wish. We were so dis-orientated after that.. we were just 'oh my god, oh my god... i didn't expect this at all and blah....' I was so happy till i think i almost floated.. its like how rare la u get to c a shooting star.
Ok.. maybe people here will like 'ya duh~ there's tonns in aussie la.. who cares.' But to a singaporean where 70% of singapore is filled w/ high rise buildings and our street lamps are as bright as the airport we can't see much stars much less a shooting one! Ya... that really lighten up my day alot! :)

Hi guys.. i'm not dead. haha...
When i'm not blogging... i'm freezing to death out here. No la.. not to death.. but its pretty cold down under here.
I'm here to write about this guy. He stays on the street up and above mine. He's so interesting, i hope he'll invite me to his place and chat. Cos he backpacked sydney... i really wanna hear abt it.. plus, he has krispy kremes... but of course.. that call hasn't come.. waited like 3 days already. SIGH.
I'll blog more later on when i have more ideas... till then... SEE YA MATE!
