Australia is having this prime minister election thing coming up and its causing a lot of rave... Unlike what i've learnt about politics in sex and the city, it requires many other qualities besides having the looks or who wears the labels better.
I received this little card thing a few days ago when i was collecting the mail...

Its like John Howard is nothing but a piece of crap and the government paid him to do nothing but pledge against the war on terror. Well, if u don't think so, Kevin Rudd does...

One of his REVOLUTION is... a national action plan to boost literacy and numeracy...
I had no reaction. I was like 'Who the hell wrote this crap?'... instead of telling us that u have a plan, wouldn't it be more realistic if we see some budget or some planning of the plan? I felt so unfair because in school we were criticized by tutors for not showing numbers or prove when their politician wrote this. If u rebutt that the card is too small to contain details about the plans.. well i really think that the front paragraph on the chronic-s and the Howard-s should be removed. Its like... HOW MATURE.

I think the sentence 'Mr. Howard just doesn't get it, he is living in the past.' is highly redundant.. its like the card is purely to get back on Howard. What happened to all the compassion and integrity qualities we learnt in school? Remember we had to learn all those stuff because it will make us lovable and respectable. I thought integrity and all that compassion to help the community is part of politics?
I felt a bit sad that these 2 men are fighting not to improve the community but for power.. its like ego is written all over the card. No matter hw many cute babies they cuddle in front of the camera or hw many old grannies they hug.. they don't really care.
